The Key Club Recognized at the Florida District Conveniton

This past weekend the Key Club attended the Florida District Convention and was recognized for the service that it does here at Christopher Columbus High School and in our home community.  Once again the Key Club was awarded the Governor’s Citation for Service which is the most prestigious award that a Key Club can receive in the Florida District.  Along with the Governor’s Citation, the Key Club was also recognized in the following areas:

Distinguished President – Julio Garcia
Distinguished Vice President – Jorge Raad
Distinguished Secretary – Jacob Gonzalez-Mir
Distinguished Treasurer – William Gregory
3rd Place Overall – Single Service Activity (Our themed service activity for they year was “Feeding the Future”)
2nd Place Overall – Service Hours Award (Second highest average service hours per member in the Florida District – Silver Division)
